Brent is a young= and up and coming paddler who after the race had the opportunity, due to the graciousness of several paddlers, to try out everything from OC1's to K1'= s. A large grin was spotted on his face as he drove away. This is how we grow = our sport. |
| Once again the combination of Jerry Cochran and Wade Binion in aluminum proved= to much as they held their handicap with ease. Shortly after their arrival t= he onlookers and well wishers were treated to a long sprint to the finish between the soloists with Jeff Glock, in his first race in a K1 coming ou= t on top. We also were treated to a back and forth sprint which ended in a tie between Debbie Richardson/ Mike Drost and Richard Mcormack/Sabine Bildste= in. |
